Peyton's 2nd Birthday fell on Sunday this year so we celebrated all weekend. Saturday, we went to the Gateway mall in Salt Lake and met Ben's brother, Kyle, and his mom and dad. It was a nice day and we had great fun. To start the day out right, Peyton got her ears pierced:) I've been begging Ben to let me pierce her ears since before she was born and he wanted to wait. I finally begged enough (or her bringing him earings from my bathroom drawer convinced him) and we got them done! She thinks it's so fun and they are now another "cute" for her to show off!
While waiting for our name to be called at Tucano's, Peyton got to open her presents from Grandpa Dayn and Grannie Annie! She loves presents! What kid doesn't. The stuffed dog on her back is a "leash" of sorts and it was a life-saver that day. She loved wearing it and her independance shines through more and more every day and so it was nice to have a hold of her without her having to keep ahold of us!

Our waitor was kind enough to take our picture. Bentley was in his car seat next to Ben. Kinda hard to get him in the picture!
I told them it was her birthday and they brought her ice cream and sang to her. She was a little scared of the drum and wouldn't shake the tamberine so Grandpa Dayn did it for her. After they left, she thought it was fun:)
Here is poor Peyton because we didn't let her play in the water. It was a nice day, but over cast and not quite warm enough to run through the water. But she sure wanted to:(
There were other kids that were playing in the water and so Peyton was intertained, but boy how she wanted to join them.
Sunday morning we woke up to this! Crazy! High on Saturday, 85 degrees!
Tara and her kids had been in St. George for spring break and stayed with us Sunday night to break up the trip home a bit. We had a great dinner and cake and ice cream.

Peyton eating Chris's dessert too! If you notice, she still has ice cream on her plate, she'd just rather eat Chris's off his plate! She the birthday girl though!
She enjoyed her presents. She got a new Sunday shoes and Tangled!
A new bike! Which she right now rides around our kitchen:)
And a music/jewlery box from Chris! She carries this around and the key is a necklace she loves to wear now too!
Tara eluded the camera until now but here is her and Bentley!
Here is how Cody and Chris spent their time in the shower! They made do with the letters they had:)
Britnee went up in the front room to watch Tangled while Ben, Tara, Jaycee, and I played Perpetual Commotion and this is how well she took care of my boy:) He seems so stressed!
Peyton was saying "cheese" for the picture, hence the face! The weekend was great! We love spending time with family and our beautiful Peyton is now 2! We are so blessed!
